Orange County Arrest Records for Orlando

Orlando Mugshots and Public Records Law
Mugshots from Orlando are public records under Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes. The general policy in Section 119.01 says all state, county, and municipal records are open for personal inspection and copying. Providing access is a duty of each agency. You do not have to identify yourself or give a reason when requesting Orlando mugshots.
Exceptions exist for law enforcement personnel photos under Section 119.071(4)(d) and victim photos under Section 119.071(4)(h). If a law enforcement officer was arrested in Orlando and filed for confidentiality, the booking photo can be withheld. Sexual offense victim photographs are automatically confidential. Section 119.105 says police reports are public but exempt details cannot be used to commercially solicit crime victims.
To seal or expunge an Orlando arrest record, apply through the FDLE Seal and Expunge Section. The $75 fee is paid by money order. Processing takes about 12 weeks. Section 943.0585 covers expungement and Section 943.059 covers sealing. Even after expungement, private websites with Orlando mugshots do not have to remove them.
